The Internet's Ugliest Dog Contest

Don't worry, there are no rules, no prizes, and certainly no long list of sponsors!

And yes, I thought about putting pictures of Hillary Clinton or Janet Reno (does anybody even remember her - I had a hard time recalling her name at first), but I just couldn't bring myself to stoop that low. Besides, I don't think I could stand to look at those two for any longer than I absolutely have to.

Monday Mania Post

Just a quick post to say that I don't really have anything to post about. Actually, I need to post about University Kid's amazing contest, but I have to prep it first, so maybe tomorrow. Basically, all I accomplished today was adding some quick-link 125x125 Entrecard-ad love to my sidebar - it gives me quick links to places I visit daily, and an easy way for you to do the same. Check it out if you get a chance.

It seems that every Entrecarder has been infected with the contest bug lately! It has been said before, although it had nothing to do with Entrecard at that time, that there can be only ONE - in this case I'm referring to VikingBlogger's current EC-credits-contest-to-beat-all-others.
Apparently, VikingBlogger purchased a couple thousand credits and they are burning a hole in his pockets, so he's decided to hold the largest giveaway in Entrecard history - 20,000 credits!

If you're a blogger and don't know about Entrecard, you need to get on board. If you're already a member, then you'll understand the significance of this contest, and you'll participate immediately.

Linking For Money

Although linking can be good for you, you have to be careful about randomly linking to a bunch of sites where you don't control the content. I read about this one blogger who (forgive me if I get any of this information skewed, I'm skipping my fact-checking on this one) had issues before, with a certain service which automatically created links to "relevant" content, and then his blog was Google-blacklisted because they caught his site with some unhealthy links on it. That would have been the death of many blogs, but the one I'm referring to was actually able to remove the service and salvage his reputation, eventually re-establishing his once-former glory. (Lots of hyphens in this one!)

WHEW, that was a long winded lead-in to a contest being run on www.bloggernoob.com where you can win money by simply adding a MAKE MONEY BLOG link to your blog. Any blogger who wants to earn money with their blog, needs guidance, and that is a great place to find some!
